The Budget Office of the Federation released details of the budget performance for the first half of 2020 last week. For the federation account, compared to prorated H1 budgeted oil revenue of N1.05 trillion, actual revenue exceeded at N1.69tr. The higher than prorated oil performance reflects the higher receipts from petroleum profit tax and oil & gas royalties.
